Janthe offers a range of buffet and cocktail menus, designed to suit all styles of cruises, and all budgets.

Our menus are completely flexible, and if you wish to modify any of the set menus, we will be happy to oblige.

SET MENUS

BUFFET MENU ONE ($30 per guest)

STARTER:                 Meatballs served with fruit chutney and tomato sauce

MAIN COURSE:       Steak, and beef sausages, served with a variety of mustards and sauces

                                        Traditional coleslaw, potato salad with egg and bacon, and greek salad

                                        Basket of fresh bread rolls

TO FINISH:                Tea and coffee served with chocolates

BUFFET MENU TWO ($50 per guest)

STARTERS:              Mini vegetable pizzas, mini vegetable quiches

MAIN COURSE:       Shellfish platter of prawns and oysters, with seafood dressing

                                        (select 2 of the following*):

                                        *Double-smoked whole leg ham, carved at the buffet, with a variety

                                        of mustards

                                        *Barbecued chicken fillets, marinated in honey and soy

                                        *Hot roast beef, carved at the buffet, with bearnaise sauce

                                        Roast baby chat potatoes, with sour cream & chives

                                        Mediterranean salad, with a herb vinaigrette

                                        Basket of fresh bread rolls

TO FINISH:                Selection of cheeses, with seasonal fruit, served with water crackers

                                        Tea and coffee served with chocolates

BUFFET MENU THREE ($60 per guest)

STARTERS:               Salmon pate with water crackers

                                         Mini spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce

MAIN COURSE:        Seafood platter of prawns, oysters and smoked salmon, garnished with

                                         capers and spanish onion, with lemon slices and hollandaise sauce

                                         (select two of the following*):

                                         *Double-smoked whole leg ham, carved at the buffet, with a variety

                                         of mustards

                                         *Barbecued chicken fillets, marinated in honey and soy

                                         *Barbecued eye fillet of beef, served with a variety of mustards

                                         Baby potato salad, in basil mayonnaise

                                         Traditional caesar salad

                                         Basket of fresh bread rolls

TO FINISH:                 Selection of fine Australian cheese and fruit, served with water crackers

                                         Tea and coffee served with chocolates

CANAPE MENU ($50 per guest)

Salmon pate with water crackers

Meatballs with fruit chutney and tomato sauce

Mini spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce

Petite spinach and fetta quiches

Antipasto platter, with a selection of meats, cheeses and vegetables, and Italian bread

Mini vegetable pizzas

Gourmet chipolata sausages with a tomato dipping sauce
